Whose Live Anyway (originally called A Night of Improv) first appeared in 1999 when it sold out two shows in under three hours to very enthusiastic crowds in Vancouver. Following its initial success, Whose Line Executive Producer and star Ryan Stiles expanded the number of appearances of the show to include many major cities in the Western USA and Canada where it has remained a constant sell-out.

Stratford plays host to "London Assurance," the timeless comedy written by Dion Boucicault and centered around Sir Harcourt Courtly, an aging London dandy! Seeking to restore his fortunes, Sir Harcourt travels to Oak Hall to marry a young heiress, Grace Harkaway. However, his plans are disrupted by his rebellious son, Charles, and a host of eccentric characters, including the vivacious Lady Gay Spanker and her amiable husband, Dolly. There's witty exchanges and farcical situations aplenty, contrasting Sir Harcourt's outdated ideals with the more progressive attitudes of the younger generation.

For any Elizabethan playwright, it's hard to compete with Shakespeare. The Bard has it all - the money, the chicks and the dance moves, and he produces one masterpiece after another. This is the quandary faced by Nick and Nigel Bottom, two struggling Renaissance writers who are desperate to escape from under the great man's shadow. Seeking guidance, they turn to a local, and quite possibly very mad, soothsayer, who suggests that they might try their hand at a new form of theatre - a play that incorporates musical numbers!

Coming to the Stratford Festival is a stylish update to Shakespeare's delightfully spirited tale of Viola, this time set in the swinging 60s! The shipwrecked orphan who takes matters into her own hands when stranded on the shores of Illyria. Viola assumes the disguise of a man just to find her way, but when that disguise lands her in a love-triangle, she's no choice but to hold on as the hijinks flow. Love, laughter and delight shine on all corners of the Bard's mad-cap masterpiece.
